When we drive our fence posts directly into the ground, we do not need to dig holes, make a mess of your lawn, or wait for cement to set before installing the rest of your fence. With posts that are 4 feet (or more) in the ground, you don’t need to worry about heaving, cracking, or erosion.
We sell fences made of vinyl or steel. Steel is used to build strong structures: skyscrapers, stadiums, airports, and bridges. In Minnesota, where our summers are hot and humid and our winters are cold and dry, steel is the best option for ornamental or chain link fencing. Steel will not sag after a harsh winter where snow and ice weighs down on your fence. It will not bend or scratch when you run the lawn mower or weed whip by it (or into it).

History of Northland Fence
From two employees to 35, Northland Fence has had consistent growth since we opened in 2004. As a family-run, locally owned business, we are committed to building fences that are stronger and better through innovative techniques and our focus on honest, friendly, and knowledgeable customer service.
Patrick, our owner, started Northland Fence out of his house with one employee in 2004. Patrick’s father and brothers all have worked for years in the fencing industry. Patrick learned how to install fencing from his father at a young age. Being able to learn from veterans in the field, he was able to gather knowledge and expertise over the years. When he started his own business, he knew what mistakes to avoid and how to train and teach his team. The business started growing, and we moved to our current location in Fridley, Minnesota.
